About
Team CNS was formed in 2011. Head instructor Darryl Chin combines a mixture of martial arts and security tactics to form a style competitive in the Australian MMA scene. Boxing, kickboxing, grappling, wrestling, jiu-jitsu or karate....."if it works, we'll use it".
Based in the South West of Western Australia, Team CNS was originally a well trained crowd control unit providing professional security services within the area. Security expert and martial artist Darryl Chin periodically trained security guards, crowd controllers and bodyguards looking at sharpening their hand to hand combat skills.
After 16 years in the security industry, Darryl has returned to his passion of competitive fighting and instructing. "I use what works in real life situations and we mould it into our style, I also like to keep it simple, because in the heat of battle it's your basics that always see you through." With a successful and fun first year Team CNS are looking forward to a bigger and brighter future!!
